This one I named Home Boyd/Capped-On Carlos/Gang-Bangin' Gilbert.

Lego Len

This one I named Lego Len or Lego Lenny. His boogers are a combination of lego and mucus. The line of mucus is made of mucus but attached to lego blocks at the end and mucus dripping out of his lego nose. I first submitted him in March 2012 using a different sketch and different layout.

Betty Blooper

This one I've named Betty Blooper and Detached Didi or Detached Debbie. A variant of this that I mentioned to Topps but didn't draw, she was throwing a shotput instead of a discus.

New drawing---compare

I just finished a new drawing of Joe Blow/Rod Wad, I think this one looks better, anyway the proportions in this drawing are a lot closer to John Pound's painting from 1986. I used a ruler this time and translated the relative sizes on a larger scale. I don't use projectors or tracing paper for these. The proportions are not exactly like J.P.'s, but almost.

New Drawing

I finished drawing and coloring this one today, pencil and colored pencil on paper 8 1/2" by 11'' , no damage or tears on paper, took me 3 hours and a half from beginning to finish with breaks during that time. This is a pencil rendition of John Pound's acrylic and airbrush painting of the Garbage Pail Kid Joe Blow/Rod Wad from Original 3rd Series, 1986. This colored drawing is no longer for sale, because I made adjustments to his arms and hands which did bring the drawing's proportions even closer to Pound's painting, but the pencil lines of the previous arm and finger size (see his right arm) did not erase well enough because I made the changes after I colored (then colored over again).  Soon I'll post much more of my Garbage Pail Kids artwork for sale here, so you can make your choice from them (I will not be selling any of my GPK concept sketches because they are still in the submission process and they are not available to be seen) . Soon I'll be available for some GPK requests and some other art requests/commisions.

February 2013

I drew, inked and colored this Dachsund doggie in 2009, it's a rendition of the children's book character Pretzel the Dachsund.
